A total of 1,331 flights were canceled (hurricane beryl update), and 505 flights were delayed by 6:06 a.m. ET, according to FlightAware, a flight-tracking website.
Top Airlines Affected:
United Airlines canceled the most flights with 406, followed by Southwest Airlines with 268.

Travel Warnings:
Both United and Southwest issued warnings about the hurricane affecting flights at airports in Austin, Corpus Christi, Harlingen, Houston, and other nearby areas.

Hurricane Impact:
Beryl caused a lot of damage in the Caribbean earlier this week, killing at least 11 people. Now a category 1 hurricane, it might strengthen to a category 2 by the time it hits land on Monday, according to the U.S. National Hurricane Center.
Port Closures:
The largest ports in Texas stopped operations and boat traffic on Sunday as Beryl grew stronger.The Federal Aviation Administration warned on Friday that thunderstorms could disrupt travel across the country.
