Alec Baldwin Refuses : declared his intention ?

A decade ago, Alec Baldwin declared his intention to retire from public life. This revelation was featured in a 2014 New York Magazine cover story, where Baldwin’s face was accompanied by the quote, “I give up.” Fast forward ten years, and much has changed, including an involuntary manslaughter charge. Recently, Alec announced via Instagram that he and his wife, Hilaria (also known as Hillary), will be starring in a TLC reality series.
This show will provide a glimpse into their life with their “seven growing children,” whose ages range from 19 months to 10 years old.

Alec shared, “We’re inviting you into our home to experience the ups and downs, the good, the bad, the wild, and the crazy,” as scenes of their children running and screaming played in the background. He emphasized, “Home is the place we love to be the most.” The show, tentatively titled The Baldwins, is slated for a 2025 release. Interestingly, TLC opted not to use Hilaria’s nickname for their kids, the “Baldwinitos,” a term that has sparked controversy given her Massachusetts roots and implications of Spanish heritage.

This reality show announcement comes at a critical time for Alec, who faces a July trial for involuntary manslaughter. He has pleaded not guilty to charges related to the tragic on-set shooting of Rust cinematographer Halyna Hutchins in 2021.

Alec’s legal team has accused the prosecutors of abusing their power and has pointed fingers at armorer Hannah Gutierrez-Reed, who has already been convicted and sentenced to 18 months in prison for her role in the incident.

As preparations for the trial are underway, details about when filming for The Baldwins will commence remain unclear. The reality show may capture moments of Hilaria explaining to their children why Daddy cannot join them on camera because he is attending court.
